Primary School (semester 3)
School has been designed for age group of 2-10 yrs. The sensitive approach to design is brought to the notice through incorporation of various activity zones considering the psychological and meta physical aspects of a child.
A strong visual connection is established between the key spaces like classrooms, play area, extra curricular activity areas through interconnection between interior and exterior spaces is established.
The building is climate responsive which follows local typology of land and the sun path in the region. School has day care facility and is socially inclusive.
In school a kid grows, develops strength is reborn, gets direction and transforms a lot.
Five elements of life are FIRE, WATER, SKY, EARTH and AIR which is connected with us since birth.
Further in design process the school was divided in 5 major points.
The superior quality of materials used and their unions has played an important role role in the process of creation and creation and realization of the project.
The placement of openings and windows are according to the sun path with a fountain in the center for further cooling of air.
Sensorial experience within the school is flavored by light, temperature, landscape and beautiful colors.
